Hi there. I’m Brian.

I am a Software Engineer with Skarven Enterprises, a Boeing Company. Depending on what day you catch me, I’m either writing code, researching some new technology, chasing people down on Twitter or Facebook, or maybe actually doing some work. Lately I have been learning Ruby & Rails and trying to shed myself of my 10 years of Java biases.

Prior to Boeing, I was a Software Developer / Software Engineer / Application Architect at IBM.

I graduated from Marist College in 1999 with a MS in Software Development and BS in Computer Science. Don’t let the fancy words fool you, that was a long time ago, and I don’t pay much attention to people’s academic history, I’m all about what have you done for me lately.
